This time we give our attention to a young, trendy brand called “What Do You Meme?”. If you are active on TikTok, there is a very good chance that you came across one of their party games. This 4 years old brand, who is “driven by the digital age and inspired by pop culture”, is already popular on social media, and especially on TikTok, and for a good reason. They really know how to reach their audience and get them engaged.

What do you meme?

APPROACH

The brand is very familiar with TikTok, and also with Influencer Marketing in this trend-making machine, called TikTok. They executed a few campaigns (for each of their games)and we will be focusing on the main three — Incohearent, doyouknowme and newphonewhodis.

They targeted Macro and Elite, comic influencers, and asked them to simply play the game with their family/ friends and get their reactions, that speak for themselves. The trend became popular very fast and drugged overall of 555M views.

The campaigns took place in November 2019, and are still very popular up to this day.
